Patients’ Stay Sweetened by Gift from Pine Valley

Many thanks to the residents of Pine Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing who donated apples and honey to Nyack Hospital patients in recognition of Rosh Hashanah. Wishing everyone a “Happy & Sweet” New Year, the apples and honey pouches were distributed on meal trays to patients in the hospital.
Over 150 pouches were assembled by a dedicated team of Pine Valley volunteers. "We are thinking of the patients who are in Nyack Hospital that unfortunately cannot be home with their families for the New Year. We really wanted to give back to the community and bring everyone a "taste" of the holiday spirit for the New Year." stated Jesse Rosenblatt, Assistant Administrator at Pine Valley.
Nyack Hospital is a 375-bed community acute care medical and surgical hospital located in Rockland County, NY. Founded in 1895, it is a member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System.
